"The followers of the robber Kih asked him, saying, 'Has the robber also any method or principle [i.e. Tao] (in his proceedings)?' He replied, 'What profession is there which has not its principles?"

(Chuang-tzu, Chap. 10, "Cutting open Satchels")
(Book of the harmonious)
**************************

Unprincipled men
Lacking skills of good robbers
Eventualy fail.

Thiefs that find the door of earth
Ajar, exposing  bounty.

Sign on the entry
"These things are easy stolen",
"Why not just take them?"

Sageness of robbers
Demonstrating recklessness.

The first to enter
Thinks himself brave, but his stealth
Is but tricks of laws

That make earth-rape logical;
Touching her without her yes.

Others will follow
Boasting righteousness,
Force their way on her

Touting new methods as clean,
But hiding foul history.

"Trust us, we are wise"
And "we will share" (they all say)
Our crop of riches.

Robin Hoods, these men are not,
Good robbers do not tell lies.

very wise soul who writes of wisdom~

robbers dont take anything that is
simple
good thing they dont know the true
value
of something so simple
but not to the eyes of man filled with
greed
think back to the mustard
seed
life begins with seeds and grows as a
garden
same as markings
upon stone
dna markings
shall take you home

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

You continue to draw readers in
with your skillful talents
as you outline painful destruction...

Well done, Sir.

yes the destruction of life is sad
but there is hope within your wisdom
and knowledge, seeing and understanding their fall~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

unfortunately, everyone pays

Interesting oxymoronic title! ~ and I enjoyed the poem that followed suit.

Those who pillage Mother Earth are somewhat like shop-lifters in that we all end up paying the price.

An intriguing read of unfortunate truths.
