A spring flavored morning
finds an old etching of brown
withering away,

past glory sitting
on the branch
where new growth struts,

and this struggle
to understand

the juxtapostion
of all things,

tied in with uncertainties
and illusions of sky writings, fading,

and trying to make shadows fall into place
after they escape their outlines once more,

and how i thought you cared,
but now can only watch the withering browns
lean upon the new patterns emerging,

and you tapped my shoulder once
so far away now, but still here,

you are......

the lost leaves of november
sitting catecorner with the soon to be may musings,

and does anything make sense anymore
after it's gone?

Absolutely beautifully written Michele..
