Turning back the clock,
returning to days of
shame.Innocents fair game,
in the name of
protection. Two examples of
depravity being linked together
by religion, by vile
motives.Children scarred irreparably,
betrayed by cardinal, by
federal government. Pontificating while
secretly hiding behind closed
doors of lies and deceit.
Abuse of carnal wickedness,
of human rights violated,
faceless men, ransomed men,
who accuse children of
heinous crime planning against
the nation, while eyes
turn blind to cloth
men's molestations, who elect
icons of mankind, hypocrisy,
outrage for the empty
shells left in their
wake, dragged back to
racial quarantine, fanning new
flames of antipathy, resentment,
fear, fevered paranoia slicking
onto coral reefs of
sunny hues, coating them
with hate slimed blackness.
''Suffer the children unto me'', children abused, incarcerated.

Love comforteth like sunshine after rain. (William Shakespeare.)
