the grand dream
flies into the sun
blinded by bright
feeling as lonely as
the loud light

there are fond shadows
on the eclectic wall
of all those
who came along and
left behind imprints

silent echoes
of whispered words
ring like sound bites
of all that’s happened
during the climbing
of this serpentine ladder

thoughts
have managed to survive
like pictures printed
in colour and
black and white

closing my eyes
in unbridled moments
of darkness,
I accept my
deliverance
