Caught in hell's hailstorm

a tongue lashing of hot spit;
fire and brimstone face.

No where to go
but out the door.

That’s when a gentle mist fell

and melted the heat of the moment
into puddles of hope.

Neat series of images with an upbeat ending.  Nicely done.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
