Hey people...not posted in a while! hope all is well! i must warn again that im not good at the technical side of things...instead i just type whatever comes into my head! feedback would be great!!....

As I sit and scribble now meaningless
words on a coffee stained page,
I dream of the day they’ll be brought to life,
sung live on the stage.

But I can only create a colourless,
Picture of simple life tales,
Painting a wilful and wondering world,
In body and in Braille

For you cannot see, my true hue’s
or insipid strength that I contrive.
Still I hope, wish and dream,
My words, to you, are alive.

if you go ,where I have been
If you see and touch my past
you will sing of pain and sorrow
and not of obstacles I’ve surpassed.

But if you take this poem I give,
And its face value you shall rate,
My story, my view, my message to you,
Will unduly but truly abate.

They say true blues can only – come from
Adversity and hard times,
But they say that those who fight on and on
Are shown the silver line.

My words on this page are,
Simply a window to my heart
You can see what you wish
It’s the majesty of art.

But close your eyes and you will come,
To realise what you desire,
Not from my words, nor my view,
But from your eternal fire.

As I sit and scribble now meaningful words,
On an even more coffee stained page,
I dream of the day they’ll be brought back to life,
In another time and age.

Stephi

Welcome back...I could really relate to your poem...as I'm sure many others will.

"My words on this page are,
Simply a window to my heart
You can see what you wish
It’s the majesty of art."

Indeed!  wonderfully said!

PS...What an adorable baby!

Very nicely penned!  Perhaps I should use coffee stained paper!  Enjoyed...
