** Please note before reading that this is just an experiment for me.  I enjoy math and science, and sometimes play with their concepts, distorting them with attempts at personification.  For the longest time, I've been wondering how I could write about a cylinder!  I know--stranggggeeeee and desperate for topics!  (Guess it takes all kinds.)  Never-the-less, the following is what developed.  FYI: I've never known a cylindrical Troll and hope no one here has either!  Enjoy.

                     ~~~
“Thee, dimensional in form and shape
Wood grained, on edges two faced
A cylinder rolls with wind...”
      His algebraic mind unfolds the schemes
      that he paints on  lassies scroll
      A scheme to lure them in
      Beware the cylindrical Troll.
      He pens the delicate on papyrus lace
      Then haunts their minds to feel the ache
            of  lonely troll abridged
       Then  trips and traps them
       His head encaps them, trapped
             by toll gate edge.
“Thee, dimensional in form and shape--
  Nothing!  (But a form wearing face!)
  Thou might roll enlisting lassies under the bridge of stroll
  But keep in mind you only roll, whereas
   a sphere can bounce right back.
  "To Trolls of cylindrical views,
   Take note of all the sphere"
