My Repentance

I know I was never the wife I was meant to be,

I'm sorry that when you would tell me I didn't see.

I know that I never cherished you as I should,

But I know if given another chance I would.

I know I never gave you the love that was meant,

But I am learning to love the way God did when His son he sent.

I know that I have a LOT to learn,

I pray your heart and love for me will return.

I know I didn't hold to my vow,

But now I am on my knees and to you I graciouslly bow.

I know that you deserve more from me,

And I promise to show you I can do it because of what I learnt from HE.

I have learnt that I need to submit, obey, reverance, honor, and encourage you,

I have learnt that this is a commandment from my God that I MUST do.

I will do all the things that God has commanded me to do as your wife,

I will do all I can to remove and never again cause you undo strife.

You are my love and my life,

I will be the woman you have desired and I desire to be your Godly wife.

This is my pray and my repentance of all I have from you stole,

Our life together forever is my longing and my goal.

Again, I am trully sorry for all my missed marks,

Can we again rekendle the life long sparks.

Morning Heather...like the fragrance of your name...all things blow in the winds of good times and bad...when the good returns, it is up to us, to hold it with protective fragile hands...so that it glows....

Well said...well done, humble and now the desire to make peace within his....

Thanks so much! I honesrlly wasn't shure if I was going to post it here but my best friend talked me into it after I shared it with her.

Without the experiance of love where would we be? We would have no memories to cherish.
With love it brings hurt with hurt bittersweet memories.
