A Shadows Fall

I grew within a shadows fall
Caught within an egos sprawl
Over whelmed by shades of right
That clouds the stars and shades the light

And there I fought Medusa’s head
That froze my mind with fears of dread
Smothered most of youth and prime
And stole from me a treasures time

Done to me in trust of rear
Although to me it was not clear
Where must and trust imprisoned me
Before I could be launched at sea

And though I chase each light of day
I’m way behind my time of way
I can’t put down the ghost of range
It touches all I try to change

It still has covers on my bed
And still I fight Medusa’s head

You've got to lay off that spicy food,
m'friend...

As Lee said...join the club!
Then club Medusa!

Excellent write here this last Tuesday of March.
Thank you for always sharing your talents with us Sy!
~Morning hugs, smiles & tea, Nancy~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Oh, my! I've met Medusa and she has more heads than a millipede has legs! Don't mess with Medusa! She'll win every time!

But perhaps this sword that I gift to thee, Sir Valiant Knight, will be of some help if she raises her ugly heads in the dark of your night!Sword 2

Keep safe, m'lord!
