Lily For Him

So long the miles
As March the winds do come
Some gusts have frozen over surface glass
My hands let pass the cold, give way to spring so bold

Still snow along the paths I travel,
Uncertain soil, uneven gravel
Finding me in stranger lands without you
Yet lead me back to promise, left silent and awake

Where last I left my heart beside the road called change
And travel you will, and still
Gone and full of mystery, fastidious in need to be
The balk of never ever to be seen and then
The warm of was returns to comfort me again

And limp my chin to drop against the wait of tears
You take the hand of all my fears
What was a soft impression stirs my heart
