I only can write
what lies inside
these feelings I can
    no longer deny.

It rocks and rolls me
to the edge
but that damn far
       I don't think I can bend.

Passions fire     still lingers
and I burn in your flame
and I still ask myself
who the hell is to blame.

I've exposed          my 'me'
to the very core
but you keep taking
   and pushing for more.

I've taken each word
that you've lied
and tossed each one
out to the side,

I'm a tethered soul
  now torn apart
        unable to escape
           the thunder of heart.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

Sounds like all take
no give...

on the other side.

Stand tall, bend willowy...
and spring back.

Those willow limbs
can sure sting
in their lash.
