There's nothing left for you to hate.
Don't you see? I'm dying here.
I'm parchment. I'm the face of fate -
stringers porcelained and splayed
held up to the sun
I weep
the maps of roads
are purpling
backroads of the past
and grief
in fingers curving comma pray
priests are counting beads
and they
feel a need they should confess
within
the boxes of duress
and Jesus
wanted it
this way.
(god is great)

God is good.

and there is so much that I hate--

I guess I'm going to Hell.

serenity,
a very moving, well written poem, but I've got to counter the thought "there is so much to hate"; rather, there is so much to love!  For instance, I love your sincere attitude, always trying to better yourself, your poetry and prose, and those who you can influence.  You are one magnificient individual!

Some days, I would say,
you and me both.

But then there are other days,
and I say no way in

what you do with rhyme speak has always amazed and impressed me....you seduce the reader with your cadence...and you have taken that further as your poetry has evolved... the way you string the words, the line breaks...the word play...the way you drop a word here...pick up a line there...

poetic gleeeeeeeee baby

you rock..and it rolls me.

one drop, an ocean ... one seed, the forest ... one leaf, the wind ...

You are the queen m'lady...
the queen..
wonder if I could be a royal pain and ask if you would perhaps someday duet with this lowly and loyal peasant??
gal.
