I am a seeker of hope and love,
I wonder if anyone hears my hearts truths,
I hear sounds of claws tearing the veil of reality,
I see the future of sanity lost,
I want people to see each others true selves,
I am a seeker of hope and love.

I pretend sometimes that I understand hate,
I feel frustration when judgement flies unchecked,
I touch the soul of those I love,
I worry my son will never learn patience,
I cry when I see others pain,
I am a seeker of hope and love.

I understand faith is a myth,
I say we must give all the chances we feel we've missed,
I dream of a day where no one points and laughs,
I try to keep my mind open to others ideas,
I hope to see my loved ones happy,
I am a seeker of hope and love.

No one really cares,,why should I?

Sounds like you know who you are ~ and that's a good thing!

I like and admire the kind of person it took to write such a positive poem!

Love & Light,
EA

Thanks much for the possitive feedback kids, I took this challenge before back in the stone ages, and its funny, the anwsers seemed to have changed,,,
I'll never grow up (shudders at the very idea), but, I do believe I've learned,,,which is always a good thing,,,,and,,even if you dont do this for a posting here,,,you should do it for yourself,,,go with the first thing that comes to mind,,,dont overthink it,,,,it can be an eye opener about yourself,,,,

hugs,,,,,Michelle

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Just as there are different slivers to our psyche, there will always be a day where a response will change. I liked this sliver of light from within, Michelle...thank you.
