May the leaves swallow crisp
the words escaped

dangerous filth
you never wanted to know..

Wind

throw me down

with skins of autumn

shed between the tears

...and tear away

anything you think
may belong to me.

Forget
me

And the roots

that bury their heads

trying to forget themselves.

So deep, this.  Beautiful in metaphor,
heavy in reality, this takes on the quality
of a family of trees, symbolism is heavy with
this wonderful writing.

I am reminded of the aspens
all groves coming from a single source
in some areas they become thinner, weaker,
problematic...
in areas rich in quality, they are more vibrant.

Such is this poem.
