Climbing her own ladder
she extends herself
skyward,
counting constellations
her fingers tap
the keeper's gate,
as feet sleep sideways
in beds of
gathered seasons,

rounding the womb
of her trunk,
i hide myself
deep in the vines,
finding sanctuary
within,as i wander
between the extremes.

What goes up, must come down. The higher the highs, the lower the lows. Bi-polarity is a roller coaster ride ~ but those who have this condition are never, ever boring! In fact, they on average, have a higher IQ than the rest of the population! They are stars! ~ Sometimes shooting! Sometimes falling! ~ but always fascinating!

I commend you on an exceptionally beautiful poem from the inside ~ out!
