A Poem to Remember

A poem to remember
Is a poem about the heart
It has a common ending
And a very common start

A kiss a touch a field of green
A knight a maid an intimate scene
A snow white dove, a velvet glove
A whisper of the sound of love

Illusion plays a violin
The eyes see soar and nothing more
Nimble is the mandolin
Plucking strings of evermore

The mind is wined and dinned to mate
It is the common start of fate
And time is stopped a candles glow
And change impaired the view of sew

It is a thing beyond my ken
And only happens now and then

There you go, plucking remembers
and sounding heartstrings...

Yes, Sir, a Poem to Remember...

and tucked into my library, I always shall!

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

Pluck on dearest poet ... pluck on~

I shall remember the poem
and the man behind the ink
that *gifts* us every morning
with his poetic think~

THANK YOU~

Indeed a poem so beautiful containing these bounties
is truly one to remember...

Myohmy....do I love that verse...those couplets are poetic gold...they are the heart and soul of the poem.
Whenever I read you I look for that one line, that one couplet, or verse that holds the true spirit of the inspire...and for me those lines are magic.

It is a thing beyond my ken
And only happens now and then

oh my darling Sy...I must disagree...
tis not beyond you at all..and its our good fortune that it happends each morn when we read your render and then remember.

but the measure is acquired by art.

It seemed you wrote this poem for me
An avid member of your symphony
It's hard for my day to even start
Without your words playing in my heart.

Morning Sy
