When Love Has Gone

If your love has gone, you must travel on, because some things just don’t last.
Do you hear a tale of love gone stale?  It’s for sure that die was cast.
If you cannot stick with love gone sick, then it’s time to find your life.
For no good can come from being dumb in a house that’s filled with strife.

When your love is bad and it seems so sad, it is time to face the fact.
Do you feel a strain of your love in vain, and it seems like you’ve been hacked?
If these thoughts ring true and your life you rue, you must purge your heart so sere.
For a closed up door offers this and more, there’s a portal open near.

When you do not grasp how your love’s great clasp became loosened, do be strong.
Do you know, my friend, that the pain can end when the time passed has been long?
If there be a cure for that love so pure, you must know it’s within your touch.
For the real test is the one known best; you are worth so very much.

So much truth here Ken.
So expertly written.
~Hugs to you m'friend~

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

Thanks to all who stopped to read.  Dixie, you write so well of love lost, you are certainly welcome to this.  Ken

The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
