Far from where I am going

Planned Neglect (destroying bonds forged in time)

Torn Silence
within a sphere
of uncomfort
caused by a night
of reckless inhabition
and subconsious longings
playing out among friends.
moon strands
shine through bare
tree limbs
as warring eyes
meet from across
a field
of strangled wildlife.
the battle lines are drawn
within a senseless war
of frigid shoulders
and silence.
Who will be victorious?
a sinister mind
in accordance
with planned neglect
hastens the fall of friendship
in a flourishing relationship
How is it that
lack of communication
can destroy a bond
of friendship
forged by time?
