In The Villa (Before the Sweet Morning Dew)

In the villa with Maddalena,
one thousand years ago we met,
only one night I spent with her,
but still a night I won't forget.
Or shall I say I can't forget,
for in my dreams I hear her
screams and feel the passion
and her lust for love, embracing
me in ecstasy as if caressed by
the moon and the stars above.
Scream for me Maddalena, bring
back those precious memories of
me and you, make me yours, all yours
my Maddalena, before the morning dew.

It's hard to consumate a relationship,
from a thousand years ago, knowing
not why she wouldn't show her face,
until I had almost given up hope.
Therein lies a lesson, this very day
I shall impart it to you, never give
up your last ounce of hope, even if
it takes a thousand years to come true,
for I was not the only one to wait
all those years, Maddalena my
sweetheart, she was waiting too.
This time I won't love her and
leave her, I promise to hold her
dear , to kiss her and never more
miss her, the way I should have
for the last one thousand years.
Come to me this night Maddalena,
for such a long time I have loved you,
come to me when I need you the most,
in the villa, before the
sweet morning dew.
