I Lost My Way

It was a super sunny day
I lost my way
Within the folds of scenery
The greenery

Looking for illusions love
A dove
In settling mist turning dew
Searching for you

Looking for a certain seem
A dream
I see in each horizons day
Each night of stay

And still within each launch and lurch
I search
With longings of my heart and mind
To find

To bring a dove my golden fleece
To bring me love and my surcease

Sounds like a morning dove you were searching for dear Sy!
Enjoyed this morning's read...and appreciate the form.
Time for a cup of Chai tea?
~Morning hugs, Nancy~

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
an invincible summer.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

This lovely poem winged its way gracefully over these seas of blue ~ and in fine form I might add!

Some things are worth holding in our heart and continuing the search... no matter how long it takes or how lost we feel. *S*

Beautiful work!!!

I suppose life wouldn't be quite as interesting if we didn't continually search!
Enjoyed reading your wonderful poetry again.  I wish I could read and respond to yours and others daily!  Have a good weekend, Sy!

Dear Seymour, you found the way into our hearts!
I had to look up "surcease" ... well you associate it with love and LOVE will survive everything and everyone.
You are loved NOW.
This write is very melodious too.
Love and hugs.
