Under an eerie October hunter’s moon,
a blood-red-eyed loon wails a frozen Fall tune,
while nearby in the dark woods
there dangles and jangles
the most ghoulish ghostly scene,
a slinky wicked witch and her black cat,
both looking pissed off and oh so mean.

BEWARE, BEWARE ! for if you touch her tangled hair
you’ll freeze to the spot,  be left standing there
to scream through the night in sheer terror and fright,
as you try to break loose, with all your might,
but to no avail, you've been caught
within her unholy grail.

And when at daybreak they find you moaning and groaning,
all twisted and frazzled since the hour of gloaming
whilst the cat is shrieking a gawd awful howl
you’ll remember this write, tongue in cheek or jowl.

*Have a safe and Happy Halloween*

Thanks Donna, and I fixed that title. I'd forgotten to mention Ms DeVine's challenge.

Did I read your title right? Some hnters mooned PdV's Challenge in this month?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thanks Eric!
Larry? ROTFL, I can see where you came up with that reply. LOL, how dare they moon her!

But would that be a trick or a treat? LOL
