On spirit wings one yearns to fly
flight spree
divested of consumed lies
conscience free...

The owl played his mandolin
an enthralled cat mused at the stars
both wondered where the people had been
how a Tsunami wave had swept them so far

on spirited wings one rises above the calamity
to see an infernal progress delayed by humanity
the cat whispered about avarice in the owl's ears
owl returned to strum away their collected fears

He sang "feels good to give money from the heart
but its unlike real aid which uneasily departs
when roads to disaster victims are still to be made
count on real aid for victims to eventually fade"!

On spirit wings disaster relief flies
but real local assistance slowly fries
In reference to countries consumed by internal division,
little reason exists for central governments to
diffuse provisions.

The owl played his music into the night
the owl and pussycat sailed out of sight
their trip was financed by a 5 note bill
concern for relief was a question of will.

thanks  Susan!

one goes with the inspiration and the moment...I'm breathing new life into old nursery rhymes and people are still left to rot on abandoned sea shores while most of think our money is getting where it has to..
at that point would just love to ignore the Indonesian government and drop my care packages directly to the disaster victims.

Oh, how those suffering souls must be just hanging on ... wondering ... where is the help we need? Awesome write once again.
