Cold is the house,
looks of nothing,
feelings flown away,
dreams of him.

Laughter resonates within,
cannot share this,
she locks herself,
looks through  bars.

Freedom is hers,
will she walk
out to l'amour?
Arms hold tightly.

sometimes freedom doesn't come so easy
and wings need practice before they do their work when they haven't been used for awhile

one day, perhaps

Does she believe in a dream or reality? The dream must become tangible... The bars , the cage has been the only home the birdie has known...learning to fly is a very scary thing...even though arms await her, wide open...

She wants to fly without falling again...broken wings are hard to mend...

She will perhaps fly when her wings are secure, and then, only then, can she know...will she know....in her own time, her own space...it must be that way...that allowance...and from the encouragement of her loved ones....to do so...
