desert flower looking for rain

0 posted 2005-01-04 11:41 PM

before anyone wants to pull this and hide it away in the never seen again section called "mature" ... i figure i should say ... this is about a kiss... in the rain (the desert took a big hit again today and my mind wanders to this thought, often, when it does.) just thought i'd get that out of the way before hand :-)

tambourine heart vibration

between the exhale
that had been caught &
fingertip lilac mist, turning
breath to a honeythick
velar moan &
this tambourine heart vibration
'tween the split of ribs spilling truth
a river, of hail found itself upon my
back, a layer to plow faith through
and you, finding a storm in the
hazel of my eyes, 'neath a moon
hanging from the eaves, clung
'till earth's red clay palms captured our climb
to one another
    a stain, to linger
pressed between a mold of two
waiting for the next time you part your
fingers through my hair, bringing me
open-mouthed
to the canyon ... of you

With your explanation, it tempers the heat of your words! ~ Mind you, I rather enjoy reading your poem without thinking of your explanation! lol

Hey Snow...love this. Where you been lately? Missing you!

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Beautiful!!!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.
