i'll sway my body to the music
so you can count the notes
we'll dance the night away
and sing to the world
play that jazz like there's no tomorrow
everything is ours
music without pattern
life in motion

that saxophone will play my life story
as you light your cigarette
and hum along
this night,
this music,
was made for us
we've never pretended it wasn't

we'll stay up till sunrise
then sleep
and blow our cares to the breeze
i'll sway my body to the music
so you can count the notes

"music without pattern
life in motion"

and I think that is most often just what we need.

well done!
