Oh, I know this - but I doubt a change in President will make a difference for my family - it is as it is and has been for years - though I wish there was a choice that I could feel good about this November-

I feel for those in a similar situation - it's no fun -

Hugs - Susan

well I agree I dont think any new president can help....I also agree I wish we had a better choice/s .... the economy is hard right now....I worked for a company for 6  years and was laid off (in the clinton era) it ended up the company folded anyway, and it was the best thing for me at the time....good luck.....maybe there is a better job that awaits you.....

Thank-you Greeneyes for the comment.
Unfortunaly since President Bush took office
Michigan has lost a lot of factory jobs and other businesses. I am a factory worker, truly love my job and what I do.
We need a man like John Kerry who is for the white collar workers which I am considered. Please take no offence if you support Mr. Bush.
Thank-you again for your comment.

Hey froggy. Sorry about the layoff. This reminds me of the time free trade was established between Canada and the USA. We lost so many factories it wasn't funny. They all up and moved to the United States. In refelction though it seems all Free Trade did was speed up what was going to happen anyway. Now when I go home I laugh. There may not be as many factories...but 27 pizza places? Who the heck thought that one up. Where'd all those strip malls come from too? I suppose it all worked out in the end...but it was really rough going for 10 years before things took a turn towards the up. Hope it takes less time for you dear friend.
