Beyond The Bruise Of Yesterday
~*Marge Tindal*~

One held-back tear
     desperately seeking cheek
A sob that should flow     pools
in the surround of grief inbound
forgetting just how one lets it go
Dark memory in need of expel
seeks a quell       ending the sorrow
Yesterday’s bruise darkens
     seeping into  a blue
                         tomorrow~

~I have no idea where these thoughts came from,
or to whom they belong ...~
Darkly different from me ... outside the box maybe ?

Marge - where ever they came from, they flow beautifully in blue -

Vastly outside your zone of real, Marge...perhaps the hurricanes of your seasonal experience left a mark deeper than you thought...

one could aptly imagine that your lovely state has been bruised beyond the norm...I know, for I have visited [although it has been some years...] and I know it as a lush, lusty verdant and vibrant experience...

so if so many hammering episodes left it bruised, then there you have it, Psych 101...

I worried about all of the state, and all of our poet friends that we know so well via our blue halls...

I am so glad that all came through it safely, albeit, a bit of battered and bruised...

a bit of someone else's reality just sat upon your heart and mind for a moment, and borrowed your quill

Dear Marge:

Sad thoughts just pop up sometimes!  How good that you can turn them into memorable poetry!

Marge/sis

You are filled with empathy and compassion, it is no surprise to me that another's tears would flow from your eyes.

Perhaps it truly was written from inside the box. Wherever there be Light (and you have lots of that Dear One!) there lurks a bit of Dark to balance our yin yang! lol

Hugs to you this fine Fall morning,
EO

Thank you all for your kind comments to this piece~
The answer 'to whom they belong' came to my email box ...~

(Bless you my friend)

This 'specially brave lady asked for permission to use this for a web page ... of course I granted it~
