Lios

It is I who wrap the gifts of fairy dust
Giving wings to the world
Oh that I may be a beggar on the street
To practice being vulnerable
Otherwise, have I really lived?
Thinking about unity and sage
Wanting the stranger
But to blind to understand
Earth Magic belongs to us

Treasures found, by the wayside
I am the Talisman of a drawing bridge
In study groups…left and right brain
Why has it taken us so long to arrive?
For me to understand
I cup my hands…in grief
Thinking of our children

We cannot enhance ourselves until
All the senses travel...teaming with holy place
The shrine of daily life
Our creation, energy we carry
Heavy on the back sometimes
We forget to be thankful

I am the expectant idea, in this moment
The clone of dirt and gratitude
It is then that I will dissolve in water
Where energy enhances
And falls like rain
It is not about what I get out of it
But what I give in return
The all permeating flow
Does not contribute miserable things
Breathing becomes a part of something
My sacred man
Of everyday life
You are the air I breathe
The sun that shines
All permeating flow of energy
Within our lives

That is where many become one
Where two meet in this holy place
I look toward Maine
and see bronzed dolphine sculptures
Inkeepers of generations
Holding close a North Face
Without thinking where they are going
And I wonder if I'm strong enough
For another round of chemo?
Will I be promoted to the window?
Will Delta Soil be my funeral?

or will I continue to live with trick mirrors
There, see, another hour has slipped away from
my life...another hour...
I want so, to grow things
To place a bib around humanity
Hold Easter Egg hunts for all the children
Teach them to bake small loaves
To burn whore-hunting streets
Instead, they smile and turn away
Like I'm some uneducated dog
until...until the day comes
and it happens to them?

my life...another hour...

yes, and that is it in a nutshell.  We can't get time back and for all the things in the world that sadden people with hearts like yours and mine...
time is precious, and now is the time...for them.

Thank you Lee J...for this.  Hugs.

you're a straight shooter
and pull no punches in your writes
exposing the truths you find

~*~

Not everyone will admit
that anyone holds so much power...

we deem ourselves worthless
as we look around at other's accomplishments

and make more of them
than we do of our own...

Be the idea...for it always starts there...
