My Cup Has Runneth Over

My cup has runneth over
For my love, I can't contain
It flows throughout my being
And pulses within each vein

As I write these words in verse
I stop and reminisce
About your loving ways
And the tenderness of your kiss

I feel much joy and rapture
Whenever I think of you
My troubles fade away
And life takes on a brighter hue

Your love is to be savoured
Like the finest red wine
As you read my words of love
You'll see my heart in every line
