Our Father who art all the heavens
And all we dare deem is below

Hallowed indeed is thy name
We’re too small to ever know

Thy kingdom runs through the cycle
Of all life which is also a thread

Born from one seed by our Mother Earth
By your will till that’s done and she’s fed

Her Earth is a part of your heaven
A gift like the night and the day,

The seasons, all sustenance, reason
From which your disciples have strayed

For our trespasses to e’er be forgiven
Such a plea need be made to all

Of the creatures whose charge we’ve been given
And who, helpless, precede in our fall

And too those that suffer oppression
For the differences we won’t transcend

Tis our brothers who need our confessions
in a world which will end for

              All Men

Sir...

I will forego the PC,
and just say, I am
librarying this, and leaving
behind a most sincere

thank you.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

Thank you both for commenting on the heretics write.

Political correctness is an oxymoron. A mere bit lip for silencing a slip of what may appear bigotted and just another shovel of dirt on the grave of the issues we should be discussing.

Seemingly every day new scientific confirmation of all living things' common root is surfacing. Yet higher grows the teetering tower of babel, a house increasingly divided and filled with the swelling din of disconcerted disconnect.

"Her Earth is a part of your heaven
A gift like the night and the day,"

This says it all!
A cherished gift it is, reading this poem, I know you know this...

Well done and said, RS

Namaste
