Heretic or Illusory Death
(A call to Arms)

Traditions stretched from thought
with deity on their lips,
in the minds of man, and on their heart…

Pledges formatted into law
to decree
a love for righteousness
and liberty…

Proclaimed sustenance individually,
from the youngest to the elderly.
Each state, and state of mind:
A protection veiled and understood,
to surely stand the test of time…

Yet time has lent a cancer
intertwined.
A growth in diligence
handed to a new sovereignty
perplexed in the sublime:
that intent of
this new Nationalized Man…

The New World Order
on the slate, written with invisible ink
from commencement day,
a conceptual slink.
And this new man’s God
would soon be in the trade
for freedom’s unconditional slave…

Liberty pursuant the law
becomes the governed.
Righteous only by nominated kings
defining their own conventions for the free,
behind a wooden bench, a wig,
perceived as sheep,
yet embodied a creodont…

Sheep, with teeth of wolves,
organized to correct
God’s rules of elect.
All while this giant nation sleeps
and its pride on knees does weep,
and its political correctness
incestuously has produced
useless men, frightened,
and weak…

My own opinion but I think this is very well written.

I'm tempted to say "exceptional" because of the subtlety, the message, the thinking meaning.

It does seem to be a case of "All for One" and "None for all".

Hey JL, good to see you

I agree with Dave, but along the way
there are tons of good people, who don't go along with the crowds....who are genuine in care and concern....I know, cause Your one of many of them....

Excellent writing sir!
Happy Weekend to ya

Egads! Sometimes I think I am alone in my thoughts...But JL, there are some of us camped on the outside of their thinking, we are holding hands and dancing around the tree of life...I can see by this poem you are one of us....I hold out my hand to you, take it please, and lets dance.
