Horizons
right-to-left-to-right
ever changing view
I might
bear witness
Torah, Torah,
dance
It
is where I am
and that
is
where you've been before.

I
come a-shore
through changes over
eons and the prophecies
made upheavals,
wrote the creed -
I have known
of this
and more -
eruptions and their smolderings
that have blocked the sun
endured.

We seeded these -
diversity
curiosities
we dared.
We thought this
as we bent our knees
making signs of worship -
trees
frozen planet, bare
would care
and give a damn
of fate.
All this time
forever lied
the two of us
were ever twine
when fire scorched
the planet's crust
I saw you
in the cold exhale
dancing air
amid the flames
within the skins of game
I craved
living out the lie
inside
snapping in the green.

We sacrificed
we held the sky
we watched it
turning rust in rays
dancing lasers light
from us
civilizations,
burned to dust
in the red eye dawn again.
Atlantis be reclaimed.
There, you spin infinity
a perfect eight on ice
two figures on a stretch of sand
oblivious to all the world
as such as it might be
command.
I raged
and watched
us two escape
immune
as is such purity
most destructive path of eye.

Wrath observed our movements - and
I let the moon eclipse herself
and laughed my ass off as I
sighed
giggles in the dark
we died, as
we wept the years away
and chiseled Nature's epitaph.
Imagining
that you are still
dancing there
behind the fan
hiding your amusement as
you hear me whisper, "Deja Vu"

it is me that you...

Amazing duet. Did I know you both then....or should I know you now? Or were you two the only ones besides myself and him?
Absolutely bewitching.  Chris

Serenity,
Our worlds are as large as we make them,
thank you for giving me a glimpse into yours.

This is the most enlightening duet I have read in a very long time.

Take a bow, each of you -
for this IS timeless . . .
