The Double Dog Dare..Almost ( for Larry)

Loving possibilities
are more than a feeling,
this you know...
and when time and distance
spans the changings
this heart floats on the memories
when you first "touched" me
and that thrill left me both breathless
and in tears.

I wonder if you remember then.

A feeling that had all but left me
and like a volcano erupted such inside
that I didn't understand and at times
still don't.

I felt the worth that makes one human
dreamed the dreams that gives one hope
flushed the warmth that brought me to life.

That is what you did for me.

And though I write of sadness, and loss
and wonderings
I will always celebrate what I thought
to be a promise of tomorrow
as I sit here today...
waiting.

Maureen,
Some day he'll come along the man I love
And he'll be big and strong the man I love
Good write.
