Behind Closed Minds

Secrets rest in thought words.
Those that spell out letter by letter
the meaning of the unsaid
wishing it could float
and reach the intended
and touch~~

Cold hands placed on warm heart
to ease the missing
to stay the wants
and slow the beat of
the mind molded
in remembrance~~

And there it is
word after word
mostly unseen and mostly unheard
to never be understood
in the silence
of a darkened world~~
