walking the surreal

Let me read the long of you
By firelight’s enchanted glow
Side by side ‘neathe its amber hue
Bare boned and opened soul

There are lines etched upon your face
With many a story to tell
And your eyes heart shine mirror make
A brimming silver gray well

Your hair reflects the shades of snow
Your skin blushed, yet pale
Your shoulders broad in manly show
Tapering to narrow hips of male

Hands of man strength touch my flesh
Yet gentle as summer soft lamb
Your words tender sighs bequest
Yet burn in passion seared brand

My fingers hunger for your feel
My mind for your mind’s kiss
Within this timeless moment surreal
I am overcome in awe blessed bliss

To read the love words of your heart
To hear the sweet spirit song
To know though miles in body may part
In these dream touched lands we belong

Side by side ‘neathe fire’s light
Bare boned and opened soul
Lovers in the mystic night
Along ocean wept seep shoals

bring your long woman
and her knives
dance the sides there
by the gypsy spring
I am paper armies
fold me into a shadow
wear me as your man's hands
as your whispered necromancer

you do stir me satin one

Susan

You are excellent - just excellent.

There a few people whose books I would buy on just a name.

You are one.
