One and Only Heart

One day I told her,
"With you here it
wouldn't be so lonely,
you could be my one and only.
As each new day arrived
I could look into your
beautiful eyes, and I
would love your one and
only heart until the
day I died."

I would have to agree with the other posts. Inspiring declaration. You conveyed it beautifully and honorably. It was quite a touching bit of poetry. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
