Simmering behind your eyes
Two versions of the same thought
Tried and yet untrue

New ways that we are coming to
New rays again to filter through

About the semicolon doubt
Up raise in yet uncertain praise
Conditions to explore

Two tides brought into shore
New blends by ends of sweet encore

Shimmering horizons fair
Two versions of the same left bare
To take another chance again

Few bundles drag the floor within
Few laces hold our feelings in

As close as breath we trade
Leaned forward in the silence made
To look and really see

A scoured trust made purposely
Raised up in all you are to me

Love now and new comes easily
