(Hooray, my 100th post! )

Starshine

You can find me floating above the leaves
crowning the earth with my sleepy disease
losing pieces of your love in the dark willow trees
coloring tomorrow with the hidden hues of last night
everything you set alight I paint with a crooked insight
just to let you know
just to let you in on the seeds I sew
wait and see, wait and see
my mountain columbine so pretty
you will find my adoration waiting for you
at the corners of your mind
you will find this altered reality bled blue
my fingers in the starshine
my hands drawing the curtains on faded skies
to let the universe dance in your eyes
I'd like to see your reaction
your blissful loving satisfaction
of this feather soft starglow ballet
I dedicate for you in every way
in every way you enchant me
in every way you invite me
into the fluttering breeze of your heart
I listen to the sky and craft my art
sculpted from the deathless beauty of you
shining silver and gold like autumnal dew
this is why my every starshine I have reserved
for the canyon lady holding my heart preserved
in her hands, always
blessing my every heartbeat with sunrays
so I can live again
so I can love again

Your heart shines in this-

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

I love the way you captured the starlight, the way you made this love come alive with your gifts.
