The Only Heaven I Know It was restless desire to find great truth A road I could call all my own Where loyalty was the inspiration behind it Honesty was the creator of it And, friendship was the purpose for it. Never thought I'd ever face a path One paved to meet my heart In exact direction where prayers and good fortune embraced Allowing me to imbed who I am But, acknowledge where I've been. A single step vanished any winds against me Once captured by the arms of change Where welcome made sure to be clearly seen Where clouds refuse to hide the sun And, peace of mind was the first to touch me. It's laid out for the sake of my belonging Your silhouette obvious beneath In deep depth of your sacrifice for my new mile Where self worth denies uncertainty And, pleasant never knew desertion. Glorious defines my journey you've provided Oh, ever gratefully I move In sweet rhythm caressed in extreme light at it's best Where countless are my memories And, words escape my capabilities. Forever, I'll dwell in this calling to feel What destiny asked me to Here, in this state of unbelievable I've witnessed at last Where you have always been And, where you will always be. Precious refuses to be anything but our guides From here until the very end And, when the eternal beams carry us to our final path Where the skies are our home Where we must begin again...
