idealistic endeavors
a song from the past
familiar faces
the stories that last
hopes for the future
memories that pain
the heart that was shattered
loves that remain
repeticious rejection
tears in the night
apologies accepted
being held tight
the touch of a mother
a father's embrace
bouquets of flowers
sunshine on your face
walks hand in hand
the long kiss goodnight
laughter of children
a world that was right
