Dressed To Grill
By: Noah Eaton
7/14/04

I'm firin' up,
the Weber Baby Q this evenin', yeah!
She may be small,
but she's saucier than George Foreman, yeah!
(No offense, George,
I still think you're a lean mean grilling machine!
Awww, thanks! )

Hey hey hey,
look who's comin', yeah!
She's such a sweet girl,
she sure is smokin, yeah!

Come on down, darling!
my lil' barbecutie,
it's polite to kiss the cook,
give me a lil' piezoelectricity,
set my heart on fire,
any way is a thrill,
I just wanna see you,
.
.
.
dressed to grill!

You know I love the taste of your lips,
in any kind of marinade,
your caress my heart with a basting brush,
giving my desires a honey-chutney glaze,
Her BTU rating,
is off the charts, whoa!
Someone call the Fire Department,
she's out of control!

Come on down, darling!
my lil' barbecutie,
it's polite to kiss the cook,
give me a lil' piezoelectricity,
Whether its propane, charcoal or electric,
any way is a thrill,
I just wanna see you,
.
.
.
dressed to grill!

Compliments to the chef now,
how would you like it?
(Relish today, ketchup tomorrow!)
Whatever melts your butter!
Make sure you top love with pineapple,
warm her heart on the chimney starter,
If she's done on that side,
isn't it time to turn her?

Come on down, darling!
my lil' barbecutie,
it's polite to kiss the cook,
give me a lil' piezoelectricity,
I love everything about you,
any way you do me is a thrill,
you just better be...
.
.
.
dressed to grill!
.
.
.
oh yeah, you know I love it when you're,
.
.
.
dressed to grill,
.
.
.
dressed to grill!

This is too adorably funny...sounds like a hit song to me!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Tee hee, and Tee hee again.  Love the humor.  Too much fun.

Hello Angel.  It's been a long time.  I have come back to your beatufiul words and have found myself smiling as always.  Your words have always given me the inclination to smile and this poem is no exception.  The very first thing I wanted to do after my short hiatus was to read one of your poems.  You have not disappointed me and have yet again inspired happiness in my life.  Thank you.

Such a upbeat verse -- loved it.

And, Noah.....I'm licking my lips now thinking of barbeque!

Noah

I hear it's been warm up there in Portland.  Pefect weather for standing out there by the grill with your smile a while.

Oh how great this is, 'lil bro!!!  Makes me want to have an 'English' bar-b-Q, but afraid the sausages would wash away in the rain!!!  Ha!!  I especially liked the 'Barbecutie'...what a fun read, and thanks for the smiles!!!  ~S~
