Alayna has been alive Since June 19th, 2003 A lot has happened A lot I have to tell In the last year She has learned The meaning of 2 words: BABA and No If you try to give her Something she doesn't want She shakes her head no And pushes it away And in her year of life She has not ever used a bottle She went straight from the breast To a sippy cup When she first started crawling She would crawl backwards And get so frustrated She would cry until you picked her up But she finally got the crawling down And within a month she was On two feet walking like A little Frakenstien Trying to keep her balance Ahe has teethed 3 times Now when she smiles You can see 3 little teeth All on the bottom of her mouth She has pretty dark hair And dark eyes But you still can't tell Whether she looks more like Mommy or Daddy She is 30 inches long And weighs over 20 lbs. Her foot is a size 4 She is big for her age A lot has changed in a year More might change between Now and next year In June Wowee!!!! Cold hands means a warm heart |
