Serenity challenges us to create something with a metaphor about 'Monkeys Wedding.'

(The Monkey's Wedding takes place
when the rain and sun occur simultaneously.)

Taste the sweet Sunshower moment,
when a rainbowed rain and a soulful sun join hands,
and reach above the commonplace,
to commune with a higher power.

Such a moment is the Monkey's Wedding.

thanks, Karen

Thank you Kacy--I was hoping people would write about this because one, it's one of my favorite things to happen--everytime it does I feel like I'm in movie or something, what with all that weird light.

AND...there's the added chance to spot a rainbow too.

always a nice surprise--like this one.

I had always been told when the sun and rain occur together, the devil is beating his wife...

Dixie, I've heard that too, but chose my own interpretation.

Thanks for the challenge Karen! I think everyone writer should aim their pen/keyboard at a Challenge now and then, it can help you think in a new dimension.

a most beautiful sight to behold
a point at which sun and rain collide, a place where i feel the presence of the creator, whoever she is
