Tumbling weeds outlive
Creaking sound of cedars
Placing feet in the waves
I am but a little person

Thumbing printed inlets
Thought waves to forget
Challenge nears the depot
Waving accommodations
In spite of restraints

Nature assumes deliberate walk
What summons life to death?
Culture fears uppermost elements
Integrity suffers neglect

Oh ageless blind earth
Printer friendly to the magic
Like wearing a comfortable blouse
Buffalo herds dance frantic
Circles around flesh

There is no shame in nakedness
But what grasps the epic
To shift and dissolve
Rarely outspoken
Movements argue the author

Transplanted guests plant firm
Interpretive crowning
Rich and various
But I love the horizon
Sun shine stands by my bags
Beeping their horn

There’s a fleshy buffet
Waiting outside my door
Vigorously pouring forth
Where unknown prose sings sweetly
All day, despite fleeting words
And hand held devices
A 96 year old wrinkled woman
Winks at me, bearing the face
Of a thousand years, very hip

Its time to allow my child
to be washed for awhile
And perhaps silence the adult?

This was a great read.  I have read it a few times and find something new each time.  Lots of images pop up in the mind as well as a very clear feeling of being peaceful when I am done.  Almost like a therapy of thoughts to ease the soul.  Much enjoyed.

I too love the lines about the old lady - very hip!  And letting go of your adult for awhile - sounds good - enjoyed this -

It sure is a good thing, to let the child out some times.  I guess that thing about sharing is good...they should share time, and temper eachother...each etches our character.

Your poems always make me think.  I like that and the fact that you have given alot of thought to the words that you use.
