Rondo Alla Turca
(When You Were Mine)

When you slid into my arms
I was, as you Americans
say...enchanted.
I had come all the way
from Vienna to play my
piano sonata and when the
performance was through
how could I deny one
so lovely as you the
pleasure of my company.
I have frolicked in the
Black Forest, partaken
from the worlds finest
wines, performed before
Kings and Queens, kissed
the hands and feet of
Countesses a hundred times,
but I never felt as sensual
a pleasure as that enchanted
evening when you were mine.

The muscial terms are beyond me.

All I can remember is skirtso which I understand is French for a fast little piece.

I wish I could do you words justice in musical terms.
