Listening to every heart

Pastimes

There you lay, sated,
Under summers’ sun beams
And I realize
Between want and seems,

That summer is running
Far and away from us,
From you and me, as
Another year will slip on by

And I am only
In your mind
A shadow found
In keep of time

And there we lay
As sand comes to play
On common grounds

Upon past’s wind…

God keep me and summer’s trust
That I will warm again one love

Or so the Sun says to the earth
Where all is treasured in loving birth…

And one’s hovering,
Hear angels’ wings
In hark of all…
And  the playing of strings…

So well said!

This surely trumpeted awareness to me.  Where are these days going? KJ

When the sun speaks... we all feel the warm of summer.

I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.

I too feel the summer rushing by....
There is a sweet ache here.
Love this dear Karilea...
