The Forest..
cool, inviting, mysterious.
Do not be fooled by the colors of me.
The reds, the browns, the yellows.
Look deep, see the shadows?
That is me.
The dark beneath the light.
The deepness of my shallow bright.
Reflections of the shades of night.
That is me.

The Ocean..
soft, warm, welcoming.
Do not be awed by the shades of me.
The blues, the teals, the greens.
Experience the depths of fear.
That is me.
The dispair beneath the surface.
The terror that has a purpose.
The strength you deem as worthless.
That is me.

The Sky...
vast, open, calming.
Do not be deceived by the twilight of me.
The orange, the pinks, the purples.
Understand the spirit.
That is me.
The motion that is constant.
The space of me thats vacant.
Age that makes me patient.
That is me.

Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all.

OH Yes....

Do not be deceived by the twilight of me.
The orange, the pinks, the purples.
Understand the spirit.
That is me.
The motion that is constant.
The space of me thats vacant.
Age that makes me patient.
That is me.

I very much needed to read these words this morning.  So much lies within, beneath, and beyond your words...
This is just perfect!
I'm keepin it.

ohhhh, how beautiful this was, genuine and so honest...This I loved, very much...but
this part

The strength you deem as worthless.
That is me.

How could anyone deem strength as worthless?
You are not nor never will be so...but more so, your sight and poetic inspiration gives you signficance, no one will ever come close to matching you...and he was very very lucky to know you.

So sad, so sad. Strength can be deamed worthless. It is all in the metaphors in some poetry. Very honest and straight forward. You wrote well.

I love the looking past of layers in this...
and how it leaves you with a beautiful ache.
Very good...
