Have you ever watched a spider
Inside a window clean and clear?
His prey is on the outside
Without a single fear.

The spider is perplexed
He can see his prey right there
But weaves his web for naught
And captures only air.

The bug just laughs and worries not
The spider paces to and fro
But gets some satisfaction
From a fly-bye of a crow.

Yeppers! Even bugs need eyes on the back of their head! Mind you, some bugs have the advantage of having compound eyes and see in all directions! lol

I can picture you now, turning your attention to the microcosmic world around you! It can almost be as fascinating as you are!

(I had been of the mistaken belief that Balls of Deer was the only Pipster intrigued by the insect world!)

Enjoy a Bug Lite while you're bud gazing! ~ I mean, "Enjoy a Bud Lite while you're bug gazing!"

Luvya!

When I first got my new glass door a friend of my son's, not used to the door, walked right into it. My son had a good laugh on that one.
Now when my son brings over the two dogs I have nose prints on both sides. They can't figure out why that can't touch each other.
Good one Toe.

Very cute...makes me think of my cat who tries to hunt the dinosaurs off a video game, they just don't hide behind the screen

Hahaha, terrific! Kind of guessed what the ending might be like, but that in no way diminishes the punchline. Cute as a bug

This is absolutely delightful!!! I'm sure the spider didn't appreciate being robbed of his unattainable lunch... or even his headache from trying to figure out why the web wasn't reaching. *G* But I sure appreciated the grins! Excellent work, my friend! *S*
