Weave the Want

I passed the moon in its repose
The almost full, in blue delight.
Traveling north in tune with smile,
A pleasant evening, with home in sight.

Quiet roads give passion thought
Shadowed only in yesterday feel.
Beat of heart would rise in sigh,
Each memory from evening's steal.

An hour always, of chance to think,
Reliving moments of nearness then.
Preparing dreams caressed in lace
Of summer's warmth, tomorrow's when.

As I give in to day/nights end
And weave the want, temptations blend.

Thank you Jo... *s

My evening was pleasant for a change
and the moon was beautiful (the clouds had covered it the past few nights)

Maureen, this one has a peaceful feel to it.
So, so beautiful, Lady. I love to read your poetry.
By the way, sometimes I like to come in here
and just read, quietly........
Love ya, sweet lady.
Hugs,
Ethel

Me too, Ethel. I have been reading more than responding...sometimes due to the heat here in the east and some days I am just very tired, stll trying to get into a more physical routine, but those anxious feelings tend to wear me down right now.

Always good to see you.

The beautiful title pulled me in....and the words held me close in their own beauty.

Very nice, weaving the want, I like the sound of that.
