Alone as I was meant to be I look around and all I see Is happiness that I will never know The mate of souls has passed me by I'm left out and suspect why Affection has become my affliction Advances answered, simple no's Highs have been surpassed by low's Such is life so keep it for yourself What I dealt came back to me I only wish then I could see What lay ahead, I would've change my tune My name's now in the payback book Avenging all the love I took For granted and now I pay the toll Does anybody know I'm here Am I an only child and do I fear I share the secrets I already know |

I loved the first two lines of the second stanza. That has been the story of my life. Have faith that something more beautiful than anything you have ever known lays ahead of you for it sounds as though you have learned your lesson and have become better person.  P.S. I know you're here!  |
